DSL and Dialup Filtering

We here at Catholic Internet Services pride ourselves in providing at the server dialup filter access to the Internet; however, the DSL signal that we provide cannot be filtered.  If you desire to have total control, with personal responsibility over your DSL or your dialup connection, we would like to provide you with this list of third party software programs that allow you to block unwanted content from your computer. The following programs are the more widely used free filtering programs and each program has it's own pros and cons. This is by no means a complete list, as there are many other filtering programs available that you can buy. The following two programs, we have tested, work well with their blocking features, are free, and provide a very good alternative from where to choose from.

Family Safety from Microsoft has very good parental control and is a free program.

Safefamilies.org also has a free filtering software.  We put their download link below for your convenience.  This is our favorite.
